Ingredients
250g chana dal150-200 g red lentils1 large onion4 pieces of garlic2 cm of ginger1 green chilifew coriander seeds1 spoon of curry1 tea spoon of tumeric powder1 tea spoon of gram masala1 tea spoon of hot chilli
1 tea spoon of ground cumin1 tea spoon of salt or Vegetafresh coriander leavescan of chopped tomatoes
Method
1. Wash the dal and lentils with water2. Put the dal to the pot and cover with water. Cook around 15 -20 min. Then add lentils and cook for another 15 min. If necessary add more water (ideally hot water from the kettle).3. In the meantime, warm-up the oil on the frying pan and add coriander seads, chopped onion -fry for a while. Then add chopped chili and garlic, grated ginger and the rest of spicies. Mix properly and add tomatoes and mixed again.4. Once the lentils and dal will be ready mix with tomatoes sauce.5. Serve either with rice or pita bread.6. Enjoy:):):)
